Welcome to Art at the Inn, a celebration of local artists

Throughout the year, artists display their work for your enjoyment in the Gallery Room of the Inn and throughout Atrevida Restaurant.

Currently running is the artwork of John McFetrick of Galiano Island.

The work encompasses a range of photographic explorations and transformations based on John's life and travels in Scotland to his current home on Galiano Island.

You can view John's artwork during Inn hours, daily from 9 am to 5 pm until April 30th, 2021.

Coming to the Galiano Inn April 30th, 2021:  The beautiful work of Yasemin Demir

Spring is finally here, and with it, hope for a return to something close to what we remember as normal. Limited gatherings are on the horizon, and our gallery is preparing for a season of exciting exhibitions.

Our first will feature the work of Yasemin Demir. Many of us are familiar with Yasemin’s wonderful depictions of Galiano’s land, sky and seascapes, animal life and abstracts. Her exhibition will feature a series of new work exploring our island’s mystery. Her ability to see light and bold colour, and to capture that essence through brushstrokes and fine detail is testament to a life of close observation and meditation of surrounding, a mindfulness so necessary to revealing truth in the beauty of all things. You can preview Yasemin's some of artworks on her Website.

We welcome Yasemin’s exhibition with a celebration of her talent on Friday April 30 in the Atrium of the Galiano Oceanfront Inn.
