Healing Earth Experience

The "Healing Earth" Experience is a NEW - to - Canada experience, available at Madrona del Mar Spa.

A Couples Experience that takes place in a beautiful cedar cottage, beside the waterfall, in the Flores del Iris Gardens. You choose the essential oils and scents, from a selection of carefully chosen blends, while the attendant mixes the soothing, cleansing mud with the oils, and lays the towels on the heated tile bed for two. She leaves you, while you each smooth the soft, scented mud on each other, then drift away on the heated tile bed. Afterwards, you refresh under a 'rainshower' to cleanse the skin. Detoxifying for the body, soothing for the skin, relaxing for the mind, perfect for a couple to experience together.

BLACKBERRY VINOTHERAPY MASSAGE:

Vinotherapy is a French term meaning the therapeutic application of wine on the skin.
Our Blackberry Vinotherapy massage uses tart and sweet blackberries which grow in rich abundance on Galiano and throughout the Gulf Islands. Blackberries are loaded with anti-oxidants to combat free radicals and, in turn, strengthen cell integrity. Blackberries are useful in disease prevention and helpful in anti-aging. We have chosen a local island blackberry port and blended it with massage oil….the result is amazing! This massage will leave you totally restored and revitalized.

Reflexology dates back beyond ancient Egypt. There are more than 7200 nerve endings at the bottom of our feet, which interconnect with all nerve pathways in the body when stimulated.
