Dock for Boaters
The Galiano Oceanfront Inn and Spa now has a brand new dock!The image on the right was captured through the photography of Freyja Barnwell. Her work is available through the Inn.
The dock is available from late Spring to early Autumn to provide free moorage for overnight Guests, our Owners, and for Boaters wanting to have dinner, enjoy a casual wood-fired oven pizza lunch on the outdoor terrace or dinner in our restaurant, enjoy a spa treatment or even just go shopping for art, jewelery or some very cool B.C. wines and even cooler beers in our Vintages shop. Plus! We are walking distance to the village for books, groceries and more. Other boaters can reserve at very reasonable rates (see below).

LOCATION
The dock is located at the entrance to Active Pass, in Sturdies Bay, just west of the BC Ferries terminal. It is a beautiful silver dock with float, directly in front of the Inn.RESERVE
Please call 250-539-3388 to reserve space, we have 200 feet of dock space. When you arrive (with or without reservations), please check-in at the front desk to secure your moorage.BOATING SEASON: Please note that our dock is seasonal generally from May 1 to October 15. For overnight guests not staying at the Inn, moorage is at the same very reasonable rates as that of a Government dock.
YEAR-ROUND BOATERS: Year-round boaters can enjoy our resort. When our dock is not in service in the winter, we will be pleased to have you visit us: whether you choose to moor at the Government dock in Sturdies Bay (one block away) or Whaler Bay (walking distance) or Montague Harbour (several kilometers), transportation assistance can be arranged for Inn guests or dinner or spa guests: please call us to arrange a complimentary pick-up.
And, yes, these really are photographs of our dock: it is like everything at the Inn: very beautiful while being very useful too.
