New Dock
The Galiano Oceanfront Inn and Spa now has a brand new dock!The image on the right was captured through the photography of Freyja Barnwell. Her work is available through the Inn.
The dock is available from late Spring to early Autumn to provide moorage for overnight Guests, our Owners, and for Boaters wanting to have dinner, enjoy a casual wood-fired oven pizza lunch on the outdoor terrace or dinner in our restaurant, enjoy a spa treatment or even just go shopping for art, jewelery or some very cool B.C. wines and even cooler beers in our Vintages shop. Plus! We are walking distance to the village for books, groceries and more.
LOCATION
The dock is located at the entrance to Active Pass, in Sturdies Bay, just west of the BC Ferries terminal. It is a beautiful silver dock with float, directly in front of the Inn.RESERVE
Please call 250-539-3388 to reserve space, we have 200 feet of dock space. When you arrive (with or without reservations), please check-in at the front desk to secure your moorage.Please note that our dock is seasonal May 1 to October 1: transportation from Whaler Bay (walking distance) or Montague Harbour can be arranged for Inn guests: please call us to arrange a complimentary pick-up.
For overnight guests not staying at the Inn, moorage is at the same, very reasonable rates as that of a Government dock.
And, yes, these really are photographs of our dock: it is like everything at the Inn: very beautiful while being very useful too.
