Minutes by scheduled floatplane service from Vancouver. Guests arriving by floatplane or private boat can be picked up by prior arrangement.


Or just one hour by car and passenger ferry from the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island. The Galiano Oceanfront Inn and Spa is walking distance from the ferry, so you may choose to leave your car and cares behind.

Floatplane service to Galiano is an  easy and exciting way to see the Gulf Islands. Minutes from the city and Vancouver International Airport to Galiano Island's Montague Harbour.



Island Travel


The Inn is the only resort within walking distance of the ferry, as well as all of the little shops and galleries in the village. Transportation within Galiano Island is easy and fun, with the rental of a moped or bicycle; arrangements are within walking distance or by prior arrangement, pick-up from the Inn. Convenient taxi or shuttle bus service can be arranged through Taxi Galiano 250-539-0202. And, of course, as an island resort, you will want to be on the water: you can try kayaking, rent a small boat, or take part in an excursion.
