Reservations can be made via email to our Reservations desk at info@galianoinn.com or by telephone toll-free at 1-877-530-3939

Reservations should be made directly with the spa and the restaurant at time of booking to ensure you receive the dinner times and spa treatments that you would prefer.

Reservations should be made as much in advance as possible. It is advisable to book your travel arrangements, either via ferry or float plane, at the time of booking your accommodations. Please understand that most weekends require a two night minimum, if one of the night's requested is a Saturday night: please contact the Inn for more information.




TRANSPORTATION

Galiano is the most beautiful, and undeveloped, of all the Gulf Islands. Although we are the same size as Manhattan Island, we do not have "quite" the same population, and therefore transportation options are more limited. 

We encourage guests to come to the island without vehicles (avoiding ferry line-ups and reducing their carbon footprint). But you should plan ahead,  if coming without a car:
- You can walk 1 block to the Inn from the ferry, about 6 minutes away: a gentle downgrade for that block; if you need help, do not hesitate to call us for a ride.
- If coming by floatplane, they can drop you at our dock (summer) or if you are at the Marina, you can catch our Inn Shuttle bus (summer), or we can assist in the off-season.
- Plan ahead by reserving one of our fleet of Smart Cars if you wish to explore the Island
- There are other fun alternatives for getting around: rent a bicycle or moped, a kayak or boat. Ask the rental company how to get there, if you need transportation.
- For dining options, our restaurant is open to serve you year-round. In the summer, we also have a regular shuttle bus to pick you up from the Marina, or to take you there to enjoy their facilities. The schedule varies, please check upon arrival. In our Secret Season, we will help you get to our restaurant and spa. If you are going to other restaurants, several day-time options are walking distance from the Inn, but there is no taxi service on the island, nor bus service, so you would need to rent a car.

 

Deposit/Cancellation Policy

We require a deposit payment of 50% of your reservation, or a minimum of one night, to confirm a reservation. As an island resort, last minute cancellations do impact us considerably and, consequently, we are happy to refund your deposit (less a $20 administration fee for each room booked) only if cancellations are made more than 7 days prior to the scheduled arrival date.

If you should need to check out before the last day of your reservation, you will need to pay for the days reserved, unless we are able to rent the room.

Madrona del Mar Spa guests should refer to the Spa Cancellation policy and ensure that any changes to your spa treatments or times are made if necessary, to avoid any charges. Some outdoor activities are subject to weather conditions and, if they are provided as part of a package, an alternative activity of equal value will be substituted, to ensure you have a full vacation experience.

Tariffs

Room rates are based on double occupancy, exclusive of taxes and gratuities. Additional persons in a room are $30, where they can be accommodated (select oceanfront king rooms)

For the comfort of our guests, and in keeping with the philosophy of our spa and wellness retreat, we are an adult-oriented destination, however, children are welcome.

We have a no smoking policy at our resort; smoking is allowed in designated outdoor areas only. A cleaning charge is assigned if there is any smoking in the guest suites.

Secure bicycle storage is available.

Pets

Pets are welcomed in two of our suites: one is an Oceanfront Queen room, the other is a One Bedroom Villa Suite. Please be sure to book one of those specific suites when booking and mention your pet. There is a one time only pet fee of $50 per stay.

Check in times are from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. check out times are from 8:00 am to 11:00 am.
